Auditory Temporal Processing Abilities in Patients with Diabetes Mellitus Type 1 and Type 2

Introduction: Diabetes mellitus is most common chronic disease characteristic by carbohydrate metabolic disorder in which absolute or relative deficiency insulin and various pathological changes the body system. The central nervous system disorders among affected toxic effect hyperglycemia. Auditory temporal processing one of important abilities may be diabetes. However, extent nature manifestations are still unknown. Objective: aim this study was to compare auditory these patients (Diabetics type 1 Type 2) with normal subjects through tests: fusion test-revised (AFT) investigate resolution gap detection, as well Pitch Pattern Test (PPT) Duration (DPT) for testing ordering sequencing tonal stimuli. Patients method: This carried out on three groups including 20 diabetes Mellitus II, hearing not suffering from Anova-test used mean numerical values between diabetic Pearson correlation coefficient test check age patient duration test. Results: Statistically significant difference found 2 two other all tests processing. Conclusion: Temporal individuals compared control group, finding attributed patients.
